Jose at ano ang pasimula naman ng ating pagcabangon hangan sa mapalayas natin ang mga Castila?

Caya sa bagay na itoy iniaamo co sa inyo na samantalahin natin ang cagalasan ng ating pagcopo at pagcasira ng loob ng mga americano, at caracaraca’y ihanda natin ang mga cailanganin sa digma, ilagay natin ang tunay na pag asa sa Dios ng mga hocbo at sa ating banal na patron at ompisahan ang pagcubcob at pagsalacay sa icapito at icaualo ng buang papasoc . . .

Our victory and our attainment of the Liberty we hope for will be accomplished not through the efforts of the educated men, not through heavy Government expenditures, not through large number of guns, but through our fervent hope in our most righteous God, in our unity as brothers and sisters, and through the help of St. Joseph, the Patron of our Army--for what else made us rise up in the first place and eventually cast off the Spaniards?

So in this matter I urge you to take advantage of the ferocity of our conquest and the despair of the Americans, and immediately prepare for what we would need for the war; Let us put our real hope in the God of armies and to our holy patron, and begin the siege and invasion on the seventh and eighth of the month to come...
